OVEN ROASTED CARROTS

Another easy parcheesi recipe for the aspiring (or already mastered) vegan chef!  These baby carrots are sure to be a hit with any crowd!  This recipe is also one that I've modified from a roasted tomato (+ sauce) recipe that is my own...which I shall share with you all when you are older!

ROASTED ROSEMARY AND GARLIC PO'TATOES!

Hear hear, I do believe that these are the most delectable po'tatoes on ze planet...and they are super DE DUPER easy to make.  Biggest challenge with these bad boys is remembering to take them out of the oven (which admittedly I forget to do sometimes)!  Ergo, if you can put things into the oven and take them back out without killing yourself or maiming a friend this recipe will be a cakewalk for you!

SNAPPY APPLE COBBLER

A little piece of heaven!

Aloha!  Today's delectable treat is a vegan apple cobbler recipe adapted from The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook.  As far as baking goes, it's fairly quick and relatively easy to make, but what makes this recipe really stand out is that it satisfies the dessert craving without going overboard on sugar content.  Personally, I am a salty/savory/fried food kind of person but I love this recipe because it is not too sweet!

STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE!

This recipe is a modification of the MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE that you will also find in this blog, consequently this recipe too is one modified from a recipe found on food.com.  That being said, this smoothie recipe is extra FANTASTIC because it is quick, easy to make, and its easily modifiable.  You can use any fresh or frozen fruit you have in the fridge, any juice that you like, and any milk that tickles your fancy.  Try soy, rice or almond milk, heck you could even use cow's milk (but then this recipe is no longer vegan of course)!  My personal preference is rice milk over the others because I like the flavor and its a little bit sweeter, but you should experiment and have fun with it; find what works best for you!  Also, if you have fresh fruit instead of frozen fruit, I recommend freezing before using (if you have time) to get the most desirable consistency.  The following, as with the MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE recipe, is a representation of my favorite combination of ingredients.  Eat for breakfast, eat with lunch, eat as a snack, but most importantly ENJOY!

MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE

This smoothie recipe is one that I've modified from a Vegan Banana Raspberry Smoothie recipe found on foodweb.com.  It is great as a breakfast on-the-go, as a refreshing midday snack, or as a complement to any meal!  Better yet it is loaded with antioxidants, it is quick and easy to make, and it is absolutely delicious!

HEARTY VEGAN LASAGNA!

Hello All!  Welcome to my delicious veg food blog!  Today I am going to share with you a recipe I've adapted from grouprecipes.com for making a hearty vegan lasagna that will trick all your meat/dairy eating friends.  The first time I served this to my brother he didn't even realize that it was vegan!

Within this recipe you will also find a recipe for Vegan 'Meat' Sauce with TVP and for Melty Nutritional Yeast 'Cheese,' both of which have been adapted from recipes found in The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook, one of the pioneer vegan cookbooks published by The Book Publishing Company and The Farm in 1975.
