This smoothie recipe is one that I've modified from a Vegan Banana Raspberry Smoothie recipe found on foodweb.com. It is great as a breakfast on-the-go, as a refreshing midday snack, or as a complement to any meal! Better yet it is loaded with antioxidants, it is quick and easy to make, and it is absolutely delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium frozen banana
- 2/3 c. frozen blueberries
- 1/3 c. frozen raspberries
- 1/2 c. rice milk*
- 1/2 c. cranberry juice
- 1 tsp. honey
- a few mint leaves, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Cut frozen banana into bit size pieces
- Combine all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth, NO CHUNKS!
- Garnish with mint leaves
- Enjoy :)
