MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE



This smoothie recipe is one that I've modified from a Vegan Banana Raspberry Smoothie recipe found on foodweb.com.  It is great as a breakfast on-the-go, as a refreshing midday snack, or as a complement to any meal!  Better yet it is loaded with antioxidants, it is quick and easy to make, and it is absolutely delicious!



INGREDIENTS



  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 2/3 c. frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 c. frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 c. rice milk*
  • 1/2 c. cranberry juice
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • a few mint leaves, for garnish
* I use Rice Dream Original Rice Milk

DIRECTIONS

  • Cut frozen banana into bit size pieces
  • Combine all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth, NO CHUNKS!
  • Garnish with mint leaves
  • Enjoy :)
